Adult and Senior Programming
The Colonial Plantation offers a variety of adult oriented educational and recreational activities:
Workshops
The Plantation offers a series of workshops throughout the season designed to be hands-on classes in Colonial activities. They may include candle making, cooking, dancing, and more. Saturday workshops are often themed to one activity, but customizable weekday and evening workshops are available. Actual offerings change from season to season. Please click here to learn more about our weekend workshops. Many of the workshops listed here can be arranged as private workshops for your group, contact us for more details.
Tours
We offer a 1 ½ hour introductory farm tour to any age group. These tours can be altered to reflect a specific area of interest. Tours are available Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM by prior arrangement. Saturday tours may be available dependent upon weekend programming. All workshops, tours and outreaches must be arranged in advanced by calling the Plantation Office at 610 566-1725.
Outreach Programs
Can’t come to the Plantation? Then let us come to you! The Plantation offers an array of activities and lectures which we can bring to almost any location. While we do offer a standard line of such programs, we can once again customize to your specific desires.
